95% done with the engine. There are many very small details left, but work will continue on it to get it 100%.

Finally back on the main Albatros Model, After much trial and error, i managed to get the wing roots and small details around the fuselage where the wings connect. Also added the engine and the Spandau machine guns in and need to cut the holes in the fuselage to accommodate the equipment, but as of today, i'm happy with the results thus far.

Gotten several small details out of the way and here is a comprehensive render to show all the progress to date.

Here's a closeup of the current forward fuselage. With the lo-res engine in place with the space hole cut out. Also the forward fuselage, which were usually aluminum, has also been cut out as well.

Update as of 11-26-2008. I've been focusing on the front portion(s) of the fuselage. Panel lines, bolts, fasteners etc
